I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of doing craft fairs. Should I be even admitting that as an artist? However, deciding to push myself, I took my wares to the summer fair at Creative Plants in Shenstone. It was a beautiful setting amongst the greenery. They have such a vast array of plants, trees and shrubs so it felt like being nestled in a lovely garden.
Despite the mixed weather forecast, and apart from a few drops of rain on the way, it transpired to be a perfect summer's day. It was lovely to meet other artisans and see their creations. It's always interesting to hear their stories and journeys, the highs the lows that we all seem to share.
Thank you to Creative Plants for organising the event and for the customers that purchased from me. It's always heart warming to hear such lovely feedback and the support is much appreciated.
I certainly feel more inclined to do more.
